Michelle Samar, of Mongrel Design, started her interior design company less than a year after moving to Anthem in 2000. Now more than 19 years old, Mongrel Design has evolved into an interior design and decorating company that has assisted hundreds of homeowners within Anthem, North Phoenix, Cave Creek, Carefree and Scottsdale. She has used her degree in Textiles and Fashion Merchandising from Northern Michigan University to assist thousands of customers choose the right fabrics, finishes, furniture, accessories, and art. Armed with formal education, years of experience and natural talent, Michelle takes the time to carefully listen to her clients wishes and balance form, function and budget to create personalized, creative spaces.
As the Anthem community matures and reaches its 20th anniversary, Michelle has become the local expert to help homeowners remodel their home interiors as many are in need of updating to bring them to current standards and functionality. Many Anthem homeowners are updating kitchens and baths as well as choosing new flooring options for the main living spaces.
